Lord, Revive Us Again !
The Hebrew term for  ' revive ' is  chayah,  pronounced as '  khaw-yaw '.

It's definition is to keep, and to make alive again,  to nourish up,  to preserve,  to quicken,  to recover,  to repair,  to restore, or simply be made whole.

In Psalm 51, David not only asks God for forgiveness of his sins and restoration, but he also had a desire to teach transgressors God's ways.
It's not merely enough to be revived from all troubles,  but  God wants us to be triumphant with power to win the lost to him. ( Acts 1:8 )

THIS IMAGE OF FIRE  BELOW  IS A REMINDER OF THE THIRD BAPTISM, ACCORDING TO JOHN THE BAPTIST IN MATTHEW 3:11.  HE SPEAKS OF WATER BAPTISM,   HOLY GHOST BAPTISM,   AND FIRE  BAPTISM.  JOHN  APPLIES  THE FIRST,  AND  THE  LORD  GIVES  THE  FINAL  TWO.   THE THIRD  ONE  MOTIVATES  THE  SECOND ONE,  WHICH  IS  EVIDENCE  OF  THE  FIRST.

THE GREEK  TERM  FOR  FIRE  IS  ' PUR, OR PURA ' ,  PRONOUNCED  '  POO-RAH ' .
IT  CAUSES  THINGS  TO  SIZZLE  AND  BE  MOTIVATED.

THE  FIRE  THAT  JOHN  SPEAKS  OF  CAUSES  A  BELIEVER  TO  SERVE  GOD  WHOLEHEARTEDLY  WITH  A  ZEAL  ENOUGH  TO  WIN  OTHERS  TO  CHRIST,   AND  NOT  BE  ASHAMED  TO  GIVE  HIM  DAILY  PRAISES  WHILE  LIVING  HOLY.

THIS   IS  THE  SOLE  PURPOSE  OF  BEING  REVIVED.
Jeremiah  20 : 9b

But,  his  word  was  in  mine  heart  as  a  burning  fire  shut  up  in  my
bones,  and  I  was  weary  with  forbearing,
and  I  could  not  stay.
